QukBuy ("we", "us") builds a mobile app that turns your household size and recent meals into a ready-to-shop grocery list. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and, if you choose to add one, a display name.
- Household and meal inputs — the number of adults and kids, the meals you add, and your shopping duration preference.
- Generated lists — the grocery lists created for you, so they stay available across your devices.
- Subscription status — whether you are on the Free or Pro plan. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your card details.
- Diagnostics — anonymised crash and performance data used to fix problems.
How we use your information
- To generate grocery lists tailored to your household and meals.
- To sync your lists between devices and restore them if you reinstall.
- To operate subscriptions and provide customer support.
- To improve accuracy, reliability, and performance of the app.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to team members who need it to run and support the service.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of processors: cloud hosting and database providers, an AI provider used to generate list suggestions, app store billing, and anonymised analytics or crash reporting. These providers only process data on our instructions.
Data retention
We keep your lists and preferences for as long as your account is active. Delete your account in the app or by emailing us, and we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw consent for optional processing such as analytics.
Children
QukBuy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
